St. Paul is currently working with the Texas District to plan a series of mission trips for the purpose of helping those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
About 25 members expressed interest in our first mission trip. The situations and needs have been changing from week to week in the many locations along the Texas coast, depending on what was completed by previous volunteer teams. St. Paul’s first assignment will be November 30 – December 2, working for members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Arthur. The site coordinator will meet our team and outline specific tasks— perhaps cleanup or reconstruction.
