Private Instrumental Lessons

“Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals.” Psalm 150:3-5

Beginner:

  • Piano, voice, organ, flute, clarinet, brass, strings, and acoustic guitar.
  • Lessons are open to children and adults, subject to approval by the instructor for the younger ages.

Intermediate:

  • Piano, voice, organ, flute, clarinet, brass, strings, and acoustic guitar.
  • Most often, the student has already had 2+ years of lessons on the instrument.
  • Lessons are open to children and adults.  Subject to approval by the instructor for the younger ages.

Weekly lessons:

  • Lessons typically last 30 minutes.  Lessons of 45 or 60 minutes may be requested, subject to the approval of the instructor with tuition adjusted accordingly.
  • The time for each weekly lesson will be scheduled between the instructor and the student/parent.
  • Lessons will begin late January/early February and end early May
  • 12 weeks of lessons (Flexibility built in for Spring break and Holy Week)
  • The weeks of May 11th & 18th  are reserved for make-up lessons.

Commitment:

Students are asked to commit to one semester of lessons.

  • Taft Stansel (acoustic guitar, strings)

  • Rebekah Wolfmueller (beginning violin)

Tuition/Fees:

  • By semester: $360 (at time of registration), OR
  • Three monthly installments: $125 (time of sign up, February 28, March 28) – TOTAL = $375
  • The cost of any music, book, or material required by the instruction is in addition to tuition and is the responsibility of the student/parent.
